Progressive Islamization and the Increasing Appeasement of Iran
By David J. Jonsson
There is an Arab saying; “the enemy of my enemy is my friend.” And of course the converse is: “the enemy of your enemy is not necessarily your friend and allay”. There is also a Persian proverb that says: “A snake never will give birth to a dove.” The West had better realize quickly that this proverb could not be more apt when referring to the collective leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
However, considering the combined essence of the proverbs, while the West may want to pit Saudi Arabia against Iran, discreet, behind-the-scenes a Saudi-Iranian pact of no aggression may be all but inevitable. Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal said as much on the record: "Stop any attempt aimed at spreading sectarian strife in the region."
The U.S. and the EU must also recognize that the Bear (Russia) and the Dragon (China) have a role in his conflict. This is what has in previous articles been referred to as the Leftist/Marxist – Islamist Alliance. The Alliance – which also includes Cuba and Venezuela - brings the threat near to the shores of the U.S. This Alliance has also permeated to the depths of our media and elected officials of our governments.
...
Until the U.S. and its allies understand who the enemy is and their goals, and put forward a plan for survival, the world will be heading toward a major war of untold destruction. We are revisiting 1938 where commercial interests, and not security, are driving our actions as they did then.
This image will not be improved by elites counted among the Leftist/Marxist – Islamist Alliance who have not only abandoned, but are attacking their own people, selling out their historical legacy to their worst enemies, and muzzling those who object to this. It is going to be interesting for future historians to unveil how many senior Western leaders or bureaucrats, bankers and corporate leaders have been bought and paid by petrodollars.
